Arapahoe Basin, often referred to as A-Basin, is a premier ski destination located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Renowned for its challenging terrain and stunning scenery, this ski area offers a unique experience for both beginners and seasoned skiers.
Terrain and Skiing Experience
Arapahoe Basin boasts over 1,400 acres of skiable terrain, with a vertical drop of 2,270 feet. The mountain features a variety of runs, ranging from gentle beginner slopes to steep, expert-only trails. Notable areas include the legendary Pallavicini and the challenging East Wall, which attract adrenaline seekers from all over.
Snow Conditions
One of the highlights of skiing at A-Basin is its exceptional snow conditions. With an elevation of 13,050 feet at the summit, the resort benefits from a long season that often extends into June. The combination of natural snowfall and advanced snowmaking technology ensures a consistent and enjoyable skiing experience.
